COVID-19 Updates for Our Total Dog! Family

Hello Total Dog! Family,

The spread of COVID-19, a unique time for all of us. As we have been dedicated to helping dogs and their owners build balanced relationships through clear communication for almost 20 years, we follow suit in being as clear and transparent in our operations and our commitment to you. Our programs and approaches have been carefully evaluated by the Founding Team of Total Dog! so as to best facilitate the training and experiences that you have come to expect from one of the leaders in the dog training and pet care community. With that, please note the following:

For our Clients, Employees, and Vendors we will do our part to make sure that there is no disruption in scheduling, safety and supply chains. If anyone in any part of this sequence does not feel well or is not comfortable with any aspect of scheduled training, please notify us immediately. We are monitoring advice and directives from the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and other federal and state entities, and we are adhering and supporting social distancing of groups as well as other measures to curtail the spread of COVID-19.

With that in mind, our community-based training program, “Out and About”, will be paused for the month of March and resumed after careful re-evaluation and in a manner that adheres to the guidance from the appropriate authorities.

We are now providing consultations and certain lessons over a virtual client (Facetime, Zoom, Skype, etc.) that can be coordinated with your trainer at your convenience. While this does not take the place of hands-on instruction, there is a lot of progress you and your dog can make via virtual instruction.

As you know, dogs are social animals and it is our opinion that locking them up indoors for the foreseeable future may create problems. With that in mind, be wise in the exercise and socializing of your dog.

It is our intention to provide Maximum attentiveness in our response to you and that we do so responsibly, compassionately and from the leadership position that we are in. To that end, we are available to all of our clients to talk about their dogs, work on schedules, solidify training plans and whatever is needed to stay on the course of helping you getting the most out of your relationship with your dog and in succeeding in your ability to have your own Total Dog!

Respectfully,
Total Dog! Team
